DOCUMENTS FOR PUBLIC COMMENT

The Partnership's work is defined largely by the following three documents. All three were published as 'working drafts' and were open for public comment until 31 January 2010. This formal comment period is now closed but you can still download the documents to read them, although they will shortly be updated in light of the comments received, and then reissued.

There will be a further chance to comment on these documents in autumn, when the geological screening study is available.

1 - Draft Terms of Reference: sets out what the Partnership is aiming to do, how we work, and who our members are.

2 - Draft Criteria and Work Programme 09/10: sets out potential criteria for participation in the Government's siting process, and the tasks that the Partnership aim to complete this financial year.

3 - Draft Public and Stakeholder Engagement Plan: sets out how the Partnership intends on involving people in West Cumbria and beyond in our work.

A summary of all the comments received will be published, alongside the other reports from the other public and stakeholder engagement work in this first round e.g. Neighbourhood Forum meetings etc.
